Design Challenge

Computer cases, in their majority, have some significant disadvantages. They are close-type plastic boxes almost identical to each other and are located mainly under our desks. New trends such as “case-modding” and “custom desk-setup” appeared to change the monotony of ordinary computers, or even offices, by gaming-enthusiast users who mainly focus on building high-end hardware and opting for top class performance! However, such a passion drives easily to exaggerations, both in the aesthetic and operation sector, with PC implementations that have tremendous energy needs, high temperatures, air-flow problems and of course high costs!
At this point we accept the Design challenge!
Uniting form and function with clean lines and smooth curves, we combine wood and high-tech computer components aiming to create a unique and aesthetic accessory for your desk. We look forward to making our Ascos Case a classic mainstream by giving at “case-modding” and additionally at “custom desk-setup” a unique evolutionary path with characteristics that unite eco-friendly and high-end performance with a peaceful, positive and artful appearance.

DIY Built, Play and Learn

From the initial conception of the idea to the final form of the ascos-case it was a priority for us to make a product with creativity and educational character. For that reason we worked very carefully and responsibly with the team of Ascos Design in order to create a product that will approach all ages and especially young people.
The necessary tool helpers along with the manual we offer, make the building of your computer so simple and amusing, like a toy.

Natural
Ventilation

The natural Ventilation of an Open Air PC-case and the specific ascos frame design provide an efficient in and out airflow from all directions. Each component cools down individually and as a result, this overall environment keeps the temperature low, unlike a closed type PC-case.

Thermal
Behavior

The excellent thermal behavior of the ascos case is inferred and reflected through the thermal photo sample, after 24 hours of continuous PC operation. The measurements clearly show the low temperatures due to efficient air flow.

Free

The vertical position of wooden plates in combination with the natural ventilation absolutely repel the dust and make ascos case the best DUST FREE option in Open Air cases.

About us

Based in Kavala, Greece, Ascos Design is made by a group of innovative people. We are a rather new and promising start-up company. We made our first steps as a garage-startup with a completely handmade production line and with hard work and dedication, we are becoming better day by day!
